Program of the Ukrainian Canadian Youth Ambassador
Healthcare Navigation Hub for Ukrainian Newcomers
New country, new system – let’s make it easier.
The Healthcare Navigation Hub helps Ukrainian newcomers understand where to go, what to ask, and what support exists in Nova Scotia – from MSI and family doctors to interpreters, Pharmacare, mental health, preventive care, insurance, and financial help.

About the Project
The Healthcare Navigation Hub for Ukrainians consists of 6 modules and includes short educational videos and bilingual written materials (in Ukrainian and English), so you can quickly find the information you need and take the next steps.
The project is carried out by LPN Marianna Kovtun, Youth Ambassador for Nova Scotia (2025–2026), within the Ukrainian Canadian Congress Charitable and Educational Trust – Youth Ambassadors Program.
